Miss C's Pancake & Pajamas Birthday Party...Continued

A few days ago, I posted Part One of Miss C's "Pancakes & Pajamas" 2nd Birthday Party. I promised you pictures of all the yummy & cute details.  Luckily, Miss C's Mama, Adria, is a wonderful photographer! She was sweet enough to quickly snap a few pictures of the big day for me.

I may have made a few of the decorations, but Adria did a wonderful job decorating, and tying it all together.

Some of my favorite special touches:
1. The Fruit Loop vase fillers
2. The cute cupcake sippy cups
3. The cozy bed slipper favors
4. All of the adorable kiddos running around in their PJ's.

Preston had his first taste of chocolate milk at Miss C's 2nd Birthday.  He was in HEAVEN!! I wish I had snapped a picture of his precious face as he gulped it down.

What a wonderful day celebrating a sweet 2 year old. Happy Birthday, once again, Miss C!

I will close, with this precious pictures of Miss C. If this doesn't capture the wonder and anticipation that birthdays bring....I'm not sure what does. Sure does melt my heart!

Happy Friday!

Miss C's Pancakes & Pajamas Birthday Party

Wow...what a month!! The month of October was very busy for us! We were busy having fun attending a few halloween Parties, a pumpkin carving party, trick or treating, birthday parties, The World Series of Poker (Yay Jeremy!) and a few mommy get togethers...phew!

One of my friends, Adria, asked me to make a few goodies to help accessorize Little Miss C's {Her Daughter} Pancakes & Pajamas 2nd birthday party. This sweet celebration was unbelievably adorable!

Check it out:

First, here is the invitation:
Miss C's Mom found this invite that I used for inspiration

Next up....the menu.  No one went home hungry thanks to a yummy pancake bar, sausage, fruit kabobs, orange juice, chocolate milk, and a treat for the grown ups, mimosas.

These cute little tags helped tie Miss C's breakfast buffet together:

A 20x30 poster and 8x10, which were framed & hung:

The theme appropriate goodie bags were filled with bed slippers & a yummy fruit loop cupcake treat, and topped off with these:

Last, but not least, my favorite part of this package: these "flippin cute" straw flags

Pictures to come....but here is one that I managed to quickly snap with my phone. Happy 2nd Birthday to Sweet Miss C!

Like what you see? Feel free to use these freebies for your next Pancakes & Pajamas Party :)

Enjoy everyone!

Dinosaur Birthday Invitation & Fun Owl Birthday Tags

I know so many kids who have October birthdays!! October is such a busy and fun month, and a wonderful month for a birthday. I have been busy making goodies for a few kiddos with October birthdays.

The first was for my nephew, Andrew.  He is going to be 5! He is really into dinosaurs, so of course he is going to have an awesome Dino Party!! Here is the invitation I created:

I can't wait to help Andrew celebrate his big F-I-V-E! It sure is going to be, DINO-mite!!

Another recent creation was for a friend, Stacy. Her daughter is turning one! {Actually on the same day as my nephew!!}  She is having an owl themed birthday.

Claire is such a sweet little girl, and a great friend of Preston's.  I can't wait to watch her dig into her cake!

Along with trips to the Pumpkin Patch(es), Apple Orchards {both entries will be blogged about soon!} Birthday Parties, Pumpkin Carving Parties, Halloween Parties, and other fun events, we have a lot going on in our world! Hope you all are having a wonderful October!

Preston's Baseball First Birthday Party

Last Saturday we celebrated our Rookie of the Year, our one year old son, Preston! It was full of fun, yummy treats, and BASEBALL!!

Most of all of Preston's friends showed up to celebrate with him. He had a total blast. I am not just saying that, either, he seriously had a ball. From the cake, presents and lots and lots of playing, this kids was completely tuckered out once everyone had left.

We made a lot of the decor. Well, jake did a lot of the spray painting, but I put all of the finishing touches on it all. Here is Jake hard at work:
Spray Painting the Chalkboard Sign
I got both big boards, the blank banners and the chalkboard paint at Hobby Lobby. I am seriously in love with that store!!

Shout out to my Hubby, for helping me so much. I am blessed with such an amazing husband who is willing to get on board with my crazy ideas. Thank you so much for all of your help, Babe, I love you!

Here are the finished products:
Welcome to Sanders Field! Rookie of the year: Preston Sanders

We enjoyed a hot dog bar along with typical ball game food:
Cracker Jacks, cotton candy, big league chew, and baseball cupcakes.
We served lemonade and Grand Slam Punch: spiked lemon mixed with sweet tea vodka
We repurposed our little red wagon as a cooler filled with beer & water.
We set up a "Build Your Own Dog Bar"
Ball Game Food
Baseball Berries!
Birthday Cake Popcorn
Ball Park Nachos

Popcorn

Sanders Cotton Candy
I got the fake grass at Home Depot and the popcorn containers at the dollar section of Target.

A few more special touches
The kids went home with a personalized bat and ball.

We had all of our guests sign a bat to help Preston remember his special day.
After everyone snacked on appetizers, enjoyed a cold drink (it was about 100 degrees outside) and a dog of their choice, we sang happy birthday and Preston dug into his cake.

His Giant Baseball Cupcake. I used a big two part cupcake mold

The Birthday Boy mesmerized by everyone singing"Happy Birthday"

Still in Happy Birthday Land

Checking the cupcake out and thinking, "I'm not so sure about this"

Digging in
"Hmmm....this isn't so bad!"

"MMMMMMM", this is Preston's favorite thing to say when something is really yummy.

Needless to say, this Little Slugger, thoroughly enjoyed his first taste of cake.

Thank you to all of you who helped us celebrated. Preston had a blast with all of you and is so thankful for all of his toys. Also, thank you to all of you who helped make Preston's first year of life so special. It   was definitely a roller-coaster ride. We truly appreciate every meal, gift, reassuring conversation, piece of advice, and especially every memory that you helped us create. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends in our life!!
