Free Printable Thanksgiving Menus

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is a week away? Time is seriously flying!

Today was a rare rainy day here in Vegas, which means that I got to snuggle up on the couch with my Sweet Boy and watch a movie :) His movie of choice was....drum roll please....Toy Story 2 (SHOCKING!!) ;) While he was enjoying his movie, I got crafty on my laptop, and created a few Thanksgiving pretties.

Brown:

 White:

These will print out as 8x10s.  I couldn't decide whether I wanted to frame my 8x10 and place it on the buffet, or place a 5x7 mini menu at everyone's place setting. So, I also made 5x7's in each color.  If you are interested in a 5x7, please leave me a comment, and I will email you one.

Stay tuned for some name tags that match!

Happy Thursday, before Thanksgiving!

Pumpkin Carving Party Invitation

For the past few years, a friend of mine and I, have thrown a Halloween Party.  I love Halloween. It is one of my favorite holidays.  We a lot going on this year right around Halloween, so we have opted to throw a more low key Pumpkin Carving Party instead. Here is the invite I created:

We can still have all of the Halloween fun, with out a ton of work, and still getting to enjoy all of the other events we have going on.  I can't wait to see Preston and all of his little friends running around in their costumes enjoying all of goodies the holiday has to offer. Stay tuned for pictures and stories from the party!

Fall Mantle

So, like I've said before, it feels nowhere near Fall but I have been itching to decorate.  I see all of the Fall decor out in the stores, and we are starting to plan for our Fall events at work, so I decided to do a little Fall decorating of my own.  Here are some pictures of our Fall Mantle:

Where to Buy?
Pumpkins, Wood Frame, Scrapbook Paper & mini clothes pins: Hobby Lobby (don't forget about their 40% off one item coupon. Good on each shopping trip!)
Vase, Vase Fillers & Fall Branches: Target
Bunch of Wheat: Home Goods

What do you think?

I also have been burning a Autumn Harvest Candle, that is making my house smell so yummy. I'm ready for the cooler temps & warm apple cider!!

{Free} Fall Printable & A Few Other Goodies

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've been really getting into Digital Scrapbooking lately. It started with creating documents for work, and now I am starting to play around with other things.  I recently created this invitation for one of my adorably pregnant friends, Adria & her Baby Boy{check out her awesome blog, here}, Sprinkle:
I will blog about all of the fabulous sprinkle details at a later date.
Today as I was daydreaming of Fall, and all of the wonderful yummy thoughts & feelings it brings, I was inspired to create this:
All digital scrapbooking supplies from Lori Whitlock: Autumn Afternoon Collection.
Feel free to download it and use it for anything you want. Enjoy!
Here is Vegas, Fall hits around mid October, but I start decorating around mid september. This will definitely make it up on my mantel this fall. I can't wait for cooler temperature and all of the fall flavors. Yum!
Last, but not least, here is a video of my sweet son golfing with his Daddy.  It's moments like these that make my heart smile :) Happy Saturday!
Recipe Review: Pumpkin Dip w/ Ginger Snaps & Vanilla Wafers
This past weekend, I was on Pinterest (LOVE!!), looking for a sweet treat to serve for some friends that were coming over for dinner.  I was looking for something fun and festive and stumbled upon a delicious Pumpkin Dip. It is uber quick and easy.  The men that were over LOVED it! They even asked if they could take some home. That same evening my girlfriend texted me for the recipe, per her husbands request, I guess it was hit!
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, if you are looking for an easy alternative to pumpkin pie, or yummy appetizer that is sure to be a crowd give it a Try!
Pumpkin Dip with Ginger Snaps and Vanilla Wafers
Ingredients:
*1(15oz) can of pumpkin
*1 (5oz) box of instant vanilla pudding
*1(16oz) container of cool whip
*1 small pumpkin (Optional. You can also use a cute festive bowl)
*1/2 tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
*1/2 tablespoon Cinnamon
*Apple slices, gingersnaps, vanilla wafers
Cookware & Supplies you will need:
*Large bowl
*1/2 Tablespoon
*Mixing Spoon/Spatula
*Saran Wrap
*Knife and spoon if you are
going to use a pumpkin to serve dip out of
*If not using a pumpkin to serve dip in, a festive fall bowl
Preparation:
*By hand, mix pumpkin, vanilla pudding, cool whip, and pumpkin pie spice together in a large bowl.
.....
*Cover with saran and let chill for a few hours
.....
*If you are going to serve in a pumpkin, carve it while you are waiting for dip to chill.
.....
*Once you are ready to serve, scoop dip into pumpkin or festive bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve with gingersnaps, vanilla wafers & apples.
.....
I can promise that at least one person you are making this for will love it :)  If you do end up making it, let me know how it turns out!
